# Data warehouse sync

> How to sync Pike data to Google BigQuery or Snowflake every hour, into a schema named pike with a pike_sync_log table.

Data warehouse sync writes Pike data into Google BigQuery or Snowflake every hour, into a schema named `pike`. The tables match the Power BI connector: projects, phases, tasks, time entries, members, teams, customers, deals, invoices, expenses, allocations, and time off.

## Connect Data warehouse sync

1. Go to **Workspace settings** → **Integrations** → **Data warehouse sync**.
2. Click **Add integration** and choose **BigQuery** or **Snowflake**.
3. For BigQuery, connect with a service account. For Snowflake, connect with a key-pair user.

Only workspace admins can connect or disconnect Data warehouse sync.

## What syncs

Pike writes these tables into the `pike` schema every hour.

Pike table
-
Projects
Phases
Tasks
Time entries
Members
Teams
Customers
Deals
Invoices
Expenses
Allocations
Time off
`pike_sync_log`, one row per sync run

### Schema changes

Schema changes are additive: Pike adds tables and columns and does not drop them. The `pike_sync_log` table records each run.

## Disconnect

Disconnecting stops the hourly sync and leaves the `pike` schema and its data in your warehouse.

## Permissions

Pike writes with the service account or key-pair user you provide. Access to the `pike` schema is managed in your warehouse.

## Limits

* Destinations are Google BigQuery and Snowflake.
* The sync runs every hour.
* Pike writes to the `pike` schema only.
