# Figma

> How to connect Figma to Pike so Figma file, frame, and prototype links in tasks expand into live previews.

The Figma integration turns Figma file, frame, and prototype links in Pike task descriptions and comments into live previews, with the frame thumbnail, file name, last edited time, and **Open in Figma**. Designers and account leads review the latest frame without leaving the task.

## Connect Figma

Each member connects their own Figma account. There is no workspace setup.

1. Go to **Settings** → **Connections**.
2. Connect your Figma account and follow the prompts.

## What syncs

Figma links in task descriptions and comments expand into live previews.

| Figma link | Preview in Pike |
| - | - |
| File | Thumbnail, file name, last edited time, and **Open in Figma** |
| Frame | Frame thumbnail, file name, last edited time, and **Open in Figma** |
| Prototype | Thumbnail, file name, last edited time, and **Open in Figma** |

### Files tab

The task's **Files** tab lists the Figma files linked on the task.

## Disconnect

Disconnecting your Figma account turns previews back into plain links for you. The links stay on the task.

## Permissions

Previews respect Figma permissions. A viewer without access to the file in Figma sees the link only.

## Limits

* Previews respect Figma permissions. A viewer without Figma access sees the link only.
* Pike does not edit Figma files.
