# Pipedrive

> How to connect Pipedrive to Pike and which organizations, people, and deals sync into customers and deals.

The Pipedrive integration syncs organizations, people, and deals into Pike customers and [deals](https://usepike.com/docs/customers/deals.md). Sales keeps the pipeline in Pipedrive. When a deal is won, it shows in Pike ready to become a staffed project.

## Connect Pipedrive

1. Go to **Workspace settings** → **Integrations** → **Pipedrive**.
2. Click **Add integration**.
3. Sign in to Pipedrive in the popup and approve Pike for your company account.

Only workspace admins can connect or disconnect Pipedrive.

## Import data

On the integration page, click **Import data**. The stepper runs entities in dependency order, so Pike reads organizations before the people and deals that belong to them. It skips entities whose **Read** toggle is off, names them, and links to sync settings.

## What syncs

| Pipedrive | Pike | Direction |
| - | - | - |
| Organizations | Customers | Pipedrive to Pike |
| People on an organization | Customer contacts | Pipedrive to Pike |
| Deals | [Deals](https://usepike.com/docs/customers/deals.md) | Pipedrive to Pike |
| Deal value and expected close date | Deal value and expected close | Pipedrive to Pike |
| Deal owner | Deal owner, matched by email | Pipedrive to Pike |
| Pike project link | Note on the deal | Pike to Pipedrive, when **Send** is on |

### Pipelines and stages

Choose which Pipedrive pipelines sync, then map each stage to a Pike deal stage in the integration settings. **Won** and **Lost** deals map to Pike **Won** and **Lost**. A won deal shows in Pike ready for a project.

### Project link

With **Send** on for deals, creating a project from a won deal adds a note to the Pipedrive deal with the project link. Sales sees that delivery has picked it up.

### Source of truth

Once a record is linked, Pipedrive owns organization, person, and deal fields, and Pike reads them back. Pike-only fields, such as the linked project, allocations, and internal notes, stay in Pike.

### Schedule

Pipedrive sends changes to Pike as they happen. Pike also runs a full check every 24 hours. **Import data** and **Refresh** always run on demand.

## Sync settings

While Pipedrive is connected, the **What syncs with Pipedrive** card sits under the top button row on the integration page. Toggles save immediately.

| Entity | Read | Send |
| - | - | - |
| Organizations | Yes | Not available |
| People | Yes | Not available |
| Deals | Yes | Yes, off by default |

New connections start with **Read** on for everything and **Send** off.

## Synced records

Every synced record shows the Pipedrive marker, "Last synced {time}" or "Not synced yet", and a **Refresh** action. **Refresh** shows only while **Read** is on for that entity.

### Sync issues

Records that fail to sync appear in the **Sync issues** list on the integration page, with the record, the reason, and a **Retry** action. The integration never deletes Pike data on its own. A record removed in Pipedrive is marked "Removed in Pipedrive" in Pike, never deleted.

## Disconnect

Disconnecting Pipedrive stops syncing and keeps all imported data. Linked records keep their history.

## Permissions

Synced data respects Pike roles and private projects. A private project's link never syncs to Pipedrive.

## Limits

* Pike does not create organizations, people, or deals in Pipedrive.
* Only the pipelines you choose sync.
* Activities, emails, and products in Pipedrive do not sync.
