# Zoho CRM

> How to connect Zoho CRM to Pike and which accounts, contacts, and deals sync into customers and deals.

The Zoho CRM integration syncs accounts, contacts, and deals into Pike customers and [deals](https://usepike.com/docs/customers/deals.md). Sales keeps the pipeline in Zoho CRM. When a deal is won, it shows in Pike ready to become a staffed project.

## Connect Zoho CRM

1. Go to **Workspace settings** → **Integrations** → **Zoho CRM**.
2. Click **Add integration**.
3. Sign in to Zoho in the popup, pick your data center region, and approve Pike for the organization.

Only workspace admins can connect or disconnect Zoho CRM.

## Import data

On the integration page, click **Import data**. The stepper runs entities in dependency order, so Pike reads accounts before the contacts and deals that belong to them. It skips entities whose **Read** toggle is off, names them, and links to sync settings.

## What syncs

| Zoho CRM | Pike | Direction |
| - | - | - |
| Accounts | Customers | Zoho CRM to Pike |
| Contacts on an account | Customer contacts | Zoho CRM to Pike |
| Deals | [Deals](https://usepike.com/docs/customers/deals.md) | Zoho CRM to Pike |
| Deal amount and closing date | Deal value and expected close | Zoho CRM to Pike |
| Deal owner | Deal owner, matched by email | Zoho CRM to Pike |
| Pike project link | **Pike project** field on the deal | Pike to Zoho CRM, when **Send** is on |

### Stages

Map each Zoho CRM deal stage to a Pike deal stage in the integration settings. **Closed Won** maps to **Won** and **Closed Lost** to **Lost** by default.

### Project link

With **Send** on for deals, creating a project from a won deal writes the project link and status to a **Pike project** field on the Zoho CRM deal. Pike adds the field when you turn **Send** on.

### Source of truth

Once a record is linked, Zoho CRM owns account, contact, and deal fields, and Pike reads them back. Pike-only fields, such as the linked project, allocations, and internal notes, stay in Pike.

### Schedule

Pike reads changes from Zoho CRM every 15 minutes. **Import data** and **Refresh** always run on demand.

## Sync settings

While Zoho CRM is connected, the **What syncs with Zoho CRM** card sits under the top button row on the integration page. Toggles save immediately.

| Entity | Read | Send |
| - | - | - |
| Accounts | Yes | Not available |
| Contacts | Yes | Not available |
| Deals | Yes | Yes, off by default |

New connections start with **Read** on for everything and **Send** off.

## Synced records

Every synced record shows the Zoho CRM marker, "Last synced {time}" or "Not synced yet", and a **Refresh** action. **Refresh** shows only while **Read** is on for that entity.

### Sync issues

Records that fail to sync appear in the **Sync issues** list on the integration page, with the record, the reason, and a **Retry** action. The integration never deletes Pike data on its own. A record removed in Zoho CRM is marked "Removed in Zoho CRM" in Pike, never deleted.

## Disconnect

Disconnecting Zoho CRM stops syncing and keeps all imported data. Linked records keep their history.

## Permissions

Synced data respects Pike roles and private projects. A private project's link never syncs to Zoho CRM.

## Limits

* Pike does not create accounts, contacts, or deals in Zoho CRM.
* Leads sync only once converted to an account, contact, and deal.
* Custom modules do not sync.
