# Settings View

The **Settings View** allows you to manage important details related to your project, ensuring organization and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.

## Project Details

Here are the key fields you can update to maintain clarity and alignment with your project's financial goals:

* **Project Number**:

  * Description: Update the unique identifier for the project to distinguish it from others.

* **Project Type**:

  * Description: Modify the project type to categorize it based on its nature. We have three project types:

  1. **Fixed Price Project**:

  * The total cost is agreed upon upfront, regardless of the time and resources spent. Ideal for well-defined scopes.

  2. **Time and Materials Project**:

  * Charges clients based on actual time spent and materials used. Suitable for projects with evolving scopes.

  3. **Capped Time and Materials Project**:

  * Combines fixed price and time and materials models. Allows billing based on time and materials with a maximum cap.

* **Ceiling Amount**:

  * Description: Adjust the maximum budget allocated for the project to monitor expenses effectively.

* **Currency**:
  * Description: Change the currency in which the project budget is defined to ensure consistency in financial transactions.
  * Choose between over 20+ currencies.
