Workspace search lets you move quickly through Pike without hunting through menus. Open it from the sidebar or with a shortcut, type what you are looking for, and go straight to the matching task, project, record, or settings page. Search in the sidebar next to workspace name and Settings ## Opening search * **Keyboard shortcut:** Press **⌘ K** on Mac or **Ctrl+K** on Windows and Linux. * **Sidebar:** Click the **search** icon at the top of the sidebar, beside your workspace name and **Settings**. Either route opens the same search experience. ## What you can search Depending on your permissions, search can include: * **Work:** tasks, projects, customers, and related pages * **Finance:** invoices, expenses, and other financial records * **Content:** attachments and other items indexed in your workspace * **Configuration:** workspace settings, profile settings, and similar areas Not every user sees every type of result; access follows your normal workspace permissions. ## Using results As you type, the list updates to show the most relevant matches. Select an item to open it in context. If you already know roughly what you need, this is often faster than browsing the sidebar. For day-to-day navigation, the shortcut is especially useful: keep your hands on the keyboard, open search, type a few characters, and press Enter to jump to the right place.
