# Overview

> Ways to log time in Pike - timesheet, tasks, and timers.

# Tracking time in Pike

In Pike there are 4 ways of logging time:

1. **From timesheet**: In your sidebar, **Log** -> **Time**. There you can view your assigned tasks and create time entries.
2. **From task sidebar**: By pressing on a task from any view, you can add time under **Timetracking**.
3. **From quick action button**: In the sidebar, press **+ Add** then **Time**, then select your project and task where you want to log an entry.
4. **Play/Stop button**: In any of these views, you can either choose to manually enter time or press play/stop to track time automatically.
