# Overview

> Workspaces, teams, and how they structure your organization.

## Understanding Workspaces

A workspace is your organization's dedicated environment where all your team's work, data, and collaboration happens. Think of it as your company's digital headquarters.

### Single Workspace Recommendation

We recommend maintaining a single workspace per organization because:

* It keeps all your company's data and activities in one place
* Ensures consistent team collaboration
* Simplifies administration and oversight
* Provides a unified view of all projects and resources

### Multiple Workspaces

While we recommend a single workspace, some organizations might need multiple workspaces for:

* Separate legal entities within a corporate group
* Client agencies managing multiple client environments
* Development teams maintaining separate environments (e.g., staging vs. production)

> **Important:** Workspaces are completely isolated from each other. This means:
>
> * Data cannot be transferred between workspaces
> * Users need separate invites for each workspace
> * Settings, configurations, and customizations are workspace-specific
> * Billing and subscriptions are managed separately

### Benefits of Our Workspace Model

* **Data Security:** Complete isolation ensures data privacy between different organizations
* **Customization:** Each workspace can have its own settings, currency, and configurations
* **Clear Boundaries:** Teams can maintain separate environments when legally or operationally required
* **Simplified Management:** Admins can easily manage permissions and settings within their scope
