## Set up and use Deltek WorkBook

### Connect

1. Go to **Workspace settings → Integrations → Deltek WorkBook**, click **Add integration**, and enter your WorkBook address and an API key.
2. Turn on **Import bookings** to bring resource planning across as allocations.
3. Click **Import data**. Turn on **Keep syncing** to import new time every 3 hours while teams switch.

### How to use it in your business

- **Keep margin history.** Jobs come across with budgets and rates, and past time keeps its billable and invoiced status, so margin and utilization reports cover the months before the switch.
- **Move one team at a time.** With **Keep syncing** on, Pike imports new WorkBook time every 3 hours, so one team can plan and log in Pike while the rest close the month in WorkBook.

### Limits

- Invoices from WorkBook import as read-only history.
- Pike does not write to WorkBook.
