## Set up and use Humaans

### Connect

1. Go to **Workspace settings → Integrations → Humaans** and click **Add integration**.
2. Paste a Humaans API access token with read access to people and time away.
3. Map time away types to Pike time off types, then click **Import data**.

### How to use it in your business

- **Measure utilization on contracted hours.** A four-day working pattern in Humaans sets a four-day work schedule in Pike.
- **Staff projects around time away.** Approved time away comes off capacity, so allocations avoid people who are out.

### Limits

- Pike does not write to Humaans.
- Pending or declined time away does not sync.
- Compensation sync is off until an admin or finance user turns it on.
