# Pike and Lucca

## What syncs between Lucca and Pike

Approved time off creates Pike time off of the mapped type and comes off capacity. Pending or rejected requests do not sync.

**Send time to Timmi Timesheet** is off by default. When on, closing a pay period sends each member’s approved hours as one time entry per day.

## Set up and use Lucca

### Connect

1. Go to **Workspace settings → Integrations → Lucca** and click **Add integration**.
2. Enter your Lucca address and a Lucca API key.
3. Map leave accounts to Pike time off types, then click **Import data**.

### How to use it in your business

- **Plan around half days.** An approved afternoon of RTT removes only those hours from capacity, so the morning stays bookable.
- **Log time once.** Approved Pike time goes to Timmi Timesheet at period close, so nobody types the same week into Lucca.

### Limits

- Pike writes to Lucca only to send approved time to Timmi Timesheet.
- Pending, denied, or canceled leave requests do not sync.
- Timmi Timesheet entries do not import into Pike.

### Does Pike integrate with Lucca?

Yes. Pike syncs Lucca users, departments, work cycles, and approved Timmi Absences leaves, and can send approved time to Timmi Timesheet.

### How do Lucca leave accounts map to Pike?

Each leave account maps to a Pike time off type. By default Congés payés maps to Vacation and RTT to Time off in lieu.

### Can Pike send time to Timmi Timesheet?

Yes. With Send time to Timmi Timesheet on, closing a Pike pay period sends each member’s approved hours to Timmi Timesheet for approval in Lucca.
