## What syncs between Oracle NetSuite and Pike

| NetSuite | Pike | Direction |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Customers | Customers | Both ways |
| Items | Products | NetSuite to Pike |
| Sales orders | Projects, with the sales order number as the project number | NetSuite to Pike |
| Posted invoices | Invoices | Both ways |
| Credit memos and payments | Credit memos and payments | NetSuite to Pike |
| Vendor bills | Expenses, assigned to the project on each line | NetSuite to Pike |

Invoices created in Pike become NetSuite invoices on the mapped customer and subsidiary. Map NetSuite departments or classes to Pike teams, so revenue and cost report by team in both systems.

Each entity has **Read** and, where supported, **Send** toggles. New connections read everything and send invoices only. Customers send **When you send it** or **With its first invoice**. Invoices reach NetSuite only when someone sends them: emailing an invoice from Pike does not send it. After an invoice is sent, make changes in NetSuite.

## How to connect Oracle NetSuite

1. Go to **Workspace settings → Integrations → NetSuite**, click **Add integration**, and authorize with OAuth 2.0.
2. Choose a subsidiary. OneWorld accounts can connect several, each mapped to Pike.
3. Map departments or classes to Pike teams, then click **Import data**.

Full setup steps and field mappings are in the [NetSuite integration docs](https://usepike.com/docs/integrations/netsuite).

## How agencies use Pike with Oracle NetSuite

- **Start delivery from the sales order.** The project number matches the sales order number, so finance and delivery use the same identifier.
- **Count vendor bills on the right project.** Each vendor bill line lands as an expense on its project, so freelancer and media costs count against project margin.
- **Report by team in both systems.** Departments or classes map to Pike teams, so utilization in Pike and revenue in NetSuite use the same team split.

## Limits to know before you connect

- Pike does not post to the general ledger. NetSuite stays the system for posting.
- Update customer master data and items in NetSuite, not Pike.
- After an invoice is sent to NetSuite, make changes in NetSuite.
