Approved time off creates Pike time off of the mapped type and comes off capacity. Pending or rejected requests do not sync.

**Send hours to payroll** is off by default. When on, closing a pay period sends approved regular and overtime hours for hourly employees.

## Set up and use UKG Pro

### Connect

1. Go to **Workspace settings → Integrations → UKG Pro** and click **Add integration**.
2. Enter the web service account, Customer API Key, and Workforce Management API credentials.
3. Pick the org level for teams, map time off pay codes, then click **Import data**.

### How to use it in your business

- **Plan around approved time off.** Approved UKG Pro requests come off capacity, so nobody books people who are out.
- **Pay hourly staff from the hours you bill.** Approved Pike hours go to UKG Pro timecards as pay code edits, so nobody keys hours twice.

### Limits

- Salaried employees’ hours are not sent.
- Pike does not run payroll.
- Time off and hours need UKG Pro Workforce Management.
