The GitHub integration links pull requests and commits to Pike tasks. Each task shows its linked pull requests with status and checks, and optional automation moves the task when a pull request opens or merges.

Connect GitHub

  1. Go to Workspace settings → Integrations → GitHub.
  2. Click Add integration.
  3. Install the Pike GitHub App on your GitHub organization and choose the repositories Pike can see.
Only workspace admins can connect or disconnect GitHub.

What syncs

A pull request or commit links to a Pike task when its title, branch name, or description contains the task’s Pike URL or ID.

Automation

Turn these on per repository on the integration page. Both are optional.
  • Move task to In Review when a linked pull request opens.
  • Move task to Done when a linked pull request merges.

Disconnect

Disconnecting GitHub stops linking and keeps the links already shown on tasks.

Permissions

Synced data respects Pike roles and private projects. A private project’s tasks never sync out to anyone who cannot see the project in Pike.

Limits

  • Pike does not sync GitHub issues.
  • Pike does not post to GitHub.
