What an integration does
Every integration does some of these five things.
Each integration page lists exactly which entities it syncs, in which direction, and which fields map to which.
How a record moves
After the first import, Pike and the other system keep a link between each pair of records. A linked record shows the integration’s marker, Last synced and a Refresh action. See How sync works for the schedule and Permissions and access for who can see synced data.Set up an integration
1
Open the integration
Go to Workspace settings → Integrations and select the integration.
2
Connect
Click Add integration and sign in to the other system, or enter the key
or address the integration page asks for.
3
Choose what syncs
In the What syncs with card, turn Read and Send on or off for
each entity. Toggles save immediately.
4
Import
Click Import data. Pike imports in dependency order, so customers import
before the projects and time that reference them.
Sources of truth
Each entity has one owning system after it is linked. Accounting systems own posted invoices and payments. CRMs own company, contact and deal fields. HR systems own people, departments and time off balances. Pike owns projects, budgets, allocations, time and the fields only Pike has. Each integration page states the owner per entity under Which system wins.Integrations by category
