Set up and use Deltek WorkBook
Connect
- 1.Go to Workspace settings → Integrations → Deltek WorkBook, click Add integration, and enter your WorkBook address and an API key.
- 2.Turn on Import bookings to bring resource planning across as allocations.
- 3.Click Import data. Turn on Daily sync to keep importing new time each night.
How to use it in your business
- Keep margin history. Jobs come across with budgets and rates, and past time keeps its billable and invoiced status, so margin and utilization reports cover the months before the switch.
- Move one team at a time. Daily sync imports new WorkBook time nightly, so one team can plan and log in Pike while the rest close the month in WorkBook.
Limits
- Invoices from WorkBook import as read-only history.
- Pike does not write to WorkBook.
