The dashboard list
The list shows every dashboard you can access as a card with its icon, name, description, and widget count. A lock icon marks a private dashboard. Select New dashboard to create one.Create a dashboard
In the create dialog, set:- Name and description
- Icon and color
- Visibility - Workspace (everyone in the workspace can open it) or Private (only you)
The dashboard view
At the top of a dashboard you’ll find its icon and name, and a date range picker. The date range drives everything: every widget on the page is calculated for the range you pick. It defaults to This year. The range is personal to you and isn’t saved - it resets to This year each time you open the dashboard. Clear it and the page shows a “select a date range” prompt instead of loading data. Below the header sits the widget grid. An empty dashboard shows a set of recommended templates to start from.Widgets
Add widgets, choose a chart type, group your data, and filter it.
Download as Excel
You can export a whole dashboard to an Excel file. Pike creates one sheet per widget, each holding that widget’s data for the date range you’ve picked, so a dashboard with six charts becomes a workbook with six sheets. Restricted metrics come through as an empty sheet noting the metric was restricted.Who can edit
Workspace admins and the person who created the dashboard can edit it - rename it, change its widgets, and delete it. Everyone else opens it in view-only mode. Private dashboards are only visible to their creator.Metric permissions
Widgets respect your workspace role. If a widget uses a metric you’re not allowed to see, it shows Restricted metric instead of the data - the rest of the dashboard still loads normally.Next steps
