The Member Page provides a comprehensive view of all members in your workspace, allowing you to manage user roles, allocations, and settings effectively. This page consists of three main tabs: Overview, Allocations, and Settings.

Overview Tab

In the Overview tab, you will find a list of all members currently in the workspace. This section provides essential information about each member, including their names, roles, and status. There are two ways to visualise members; list and org chart. In the top left corner of the page toggle between both.

Invite New Members

To expand your team, you can use the Invite button to invite new users to join the workspace. Clicking this button will prompt you to enter the email addresses of the individuals you wish to invite, as well as choose their role and team(s), allowing for seamless onboarding of new members.

Allocations Tab

The Allocations tab provides insights into each member’s workload and task assignments over a selected time period. Here, you can view:
  • Member Allocations: See how each member is allocated across various projects and tasks.
  • Task Details: Access specific tasks assigned to each member, helping you monitor progress and manage workloads effectively.
This information is crucial for ensuring that team members are not overburdened and that project deadlines are met.

Resources

Project team, timeline, and all resource allocation docs.

Workspace capacity

Heatmap, timeline, filters, and capacity calculations.

Contractors

The contractors page allows you to create and save external contractors in a simple table format. Here you can define each person’s: name, contact details, notes, skills and hourly rate as well as their current status (Active, Inactive and Hired).

Settings Tab

In the Settings tab, you manage Member positions and Skills.
  • Positions: title and default hourly billing rate (for example “Senior consultant”). A member holds one position at a time in their profile.
  • Skills: named skills with competency levels; assign one or more to each member.

Placeholder positions on tasks

  1. Create the position under Member positions above.
  2. On a task, add the position under Assigned to (same picker as members).
  3. In Allocations, click + on the position row and plan hours (total or per weekday).
  4. When you hire someone, Assign on that row and pick the member. Pike moves existing allocation blocks after you confirm.
See Resources and How to allocate for capacity % on members and the full conversion flow. Positions and skills also filter the list when you add people to a project.
